CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — At NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, a crawler transporter moves space shuttle Discovery along the crawlerway from the Vehicle Assembly Building to Launch Pad 39A, in the distance at right, to prepare for the STS-124 mission. The 3.4-mile journey from the Vehicle Assembly Building began at 11:47 p.m. on May 2. The shuttle arrived at the launch pad at 4:25 a.m. EDT May 3 and was secured, or hard down, by 6:06 a.m. On the 13-day mission, Discovery and its crew will deliver the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s Japanese Experiment Module – Pressurized Module and the Japanese Remote Manipulator System. For Everybody: FYI, I noticed a lot of newbies to the DVIDS Image server don't realize how many images are recycled over and over.

Look for the date the photos are taken on, and the caption dates. An image may be submitted multiple times using current dates but of old stock. We probably have seen those images with dates over a couple of months back (ie 201ST Commando Kandak & the first two images of the thread) ..

You'll start to figure it out. Keep posting.
