We got a very brief introduction when we were in P3 so around age 7/8 but the 5W was never covered until ages 11/12 my fiancee who is a good bit younger than me never really covered WW1-2 until about 11/12

All can say is that I have only seen WWII tought in any sort of depth to p5-7's so say ages 8-12. I'm not a teacher or anything like that but i think but going on what I see happening in my school it is down in many ways to the individual teachers and kids (depending on the school) as to which specific historical "era/events" they want to learn about. |
